Tail Grab
The rear hand grabs the tail of the board.

Technical
The name given to complex wakesurfing involving combinations of rotations, aerials, grabs, and shove-its while riding the wave. In technical wakesurfing, the first person who successfully lands a unique maneuver is given the rights to the name.

 


 
Traction Pad
An aftermarket product made of thin foam with adhesive glue on one side placed on a clean wakesurf board to add grip to aid in control while riding. There are a variety of manufacturers, and are available for purchase at any fine surf shop.

 
Transition
The part of the wave inclines in an upward direction of the wake. Similiar to the transition of a Half pipe.

 

 
Turn
Pivoting and changing direction on a wave by controlling the amount of weight pushed on the rail.

 
Tweak
To point the board in a different direction than normal while performing a maneuver.

 
White Wash
The turbulent and foamy water that tumbles where the wake is breaking.
