The '24 Nautique Masters Wakesurf Championships, presented by GM Marine, went down this past weekend and it was another huge result for team Phase 5! The Masters is always one of our favorite events of the year because Callaway Gardens is such a magical place. The venue is amazing, the people are friendly, the wave is kicking, and the lake is glass! What more could you ask for?
A few highlights from the weekend included Jett Lambert and Rob McClelland taking 1st and 3rd respectively in Pro Men’s Skim. Jett has been unstoppable this year, winning almost every event he has entered. Rob has been nipping at his heels all year long but hasn’t been able to overtake him! Whitley Stewart kept her winning streak rolling with a 1st place finish in Pro Women’s Skim, and just like Rob, fellow team rider Ashley Inloes has been right there a step behind all season long! Congrats, ladies!
Our resident foil lord, John Akerman, took 2nd in Pro Foil Strapped, landing 360’s and backflips up and down Robin Lake. In Semi-Pro Women’s Skim, team rider Lindsay Hovespain has been killing it all year and was able to take home 1st with Faith Byram backing her up in 2nd! Jayden Leigh Harris also took 3rd place in Semi-Pro Women’s Surf! Way to go!
