Hey everyone, Sammy G here. My schedule has been packed recently, so I wanted to share a little update on what I’ve been up to!
A couple months ago, I wrapped up my last final of freshman year at Florida Tech. The very next day, I flew out to Houston, Texas, for a competition. After that, I headed back to Florida, moved out of my dorm, and into the house I’ll be living in next semester. It was a whirlwind but a good time nonetheless!
The following morning, I hit the road and drove home to Connecticut to spend a few days with friends and family. Not long after, I was on another flight—this time to California for a photoshoot with my sponsor, Centurion Boats. The West Coast was as stunning as ever, and when I got back home, I was greeted by an exciting package from Phase 5.
Inside was a revised version of something we’ve been working on (stay tuned!). Shortly after, I had the awesome opportunity to host Jeff “Shot That” Mathis at Highland Lake for a Phase 5 shoot—right on my home lake. Such a surreal and special moment.
On top of all the travel, I’ve also been up flying again in Connecticut, piloting a Cessna 172P around New England. When I’m not in the air, I’ve been soaking up time surfing and hanging with friends and family after 10 months away in Florida.
