PHASE 5: What’s up, Bailey? What have you been up to lately?
Bailey: I have been busy with my career of being a school teacher, along with still giving online wakesurf lessons and figure skating for fun when I have time!
PHASE 5: How was your 2025 season?
Bailey: The 2025 season was amazing! It was so great to see so many incredible athletes ripping on the Rush board and showing up on the podiums! Competing at the first ever World Games for wakesurfing in Chengdu, China and taking home the gold was the best accomplishment. I also won gold at the CWSA World Championships.

PHASE 5: What was your favorite moment?
Bailey: Standing in front of the Canadian flag and hearing my anthem at the World Games award ceremony.
PHASE 5: What about your least favorite?
Bailey: When we had to winterize our boat at the end of September. If you can surf year round- be grateful!
PHASE 5: What are your plans for the off season?
Bailey: I have a full time career as a school teacher so I will be busy with that until the end of June! Along with continuing to coach wakesurfing virtually.
PHASE 5: Seeing where you are today, what is some advice you’d give to your younger self?
Bailey: Learn the skills but keep your style.
