Garret Ashby first stepped into the scene of surf style surfing at the age of 13- making his debut at the Arizona fall qualifier placing First in Amateur Male Surf.
Later that year, Garret signed with Phase 5 and finished in second place at the World Championships. Garret decided to take a year off from competing in 2020 and came back in 2021 to win the Outlaw Male Surf World Championships at 15 years of age. Currently, Garret is 16 years old and a sophomore in high school. He will be competing at the Professional level for the 2022 season. We are excited to see what the future has in store for Garret!
