With plenty of style on the water, Tatiana spends a lot of her time in Dubai giving lessons and enjoying the nice, warm surf-friendly weather all year round!
Tatiana Ryzhak is an enthusiastic and dedicated member of the Phase 5 wakesurf team, representing the brand's growing international presence, particularly in Europe. Hailing from a background deeply rooted in sports—she holds a bachelor's degree in sports industry management and completed business school in team sport management—Tatiana discovered wakesurfing in February 2021 and fell in love with it from her very first ride. Just months later, in September 2021, she boldly competed at the World Wakesurf Championships, embracing the challenge despite her limited experience and using it as motivation to dive deeper into the sport. Her quick passion for wakesurfing led her to transition into coaching, drawing from her prior career as a fitness coach to guide and inspire new riders, an aspect she discovered she truly loves.
A committed Phase 5 rider, Tatiana has been part of team adventures, including standout sessions in locations like Dubai alongside teammates such as John Akerman, Nick Gorbunov, Maryna Kaplan, Markus Lahmer, and Max Smetts, where she shreds in stunning settings and contributes to the brand's global vibe. She's also pursuing deeper involvement in the competitive side of the sport, currently training as a CWSA judge to better understand and support event judging and rules. Whether coaching aspiring surfers, competing internationally, or pushing her own progression on Phase 5's high-performance boards, Tatiana brings infectious energy, a lifelong love for sports, and a positive spirit to the team.
