Evie Shropshire

Evie Shropshire grew up on the water. Starting out wakeboarding before finding surfing, she is always stoked to get on the boat!

Evie Shropshire is a dynamic and stylish rider on the Phase 5 wakesurf team, competing fiercely in the women's pro skim division with a blend of technical tricks, smooth flow, and infectious enthusiasm. Growing up on the water and starting with wakeboarding before discovering wakesurfing, Evie has rapidly progressed into one of the sport's top female skimmers. She claimed the Amateur Female Skim World Title at the 2022 World Wake Surfing Championships, setting the stage for her move to higher divisions. Since then, she's consistently podiumed in pro events, including a strong 2nd-place finish in Women's Pro Skim at the Come & Take It Conroe Classic, a 3rd at the 2025 Volunteer Wake Surf Classic (part of a full Phase 5 podium sweep), and regular top finishes in major contests like the Southern Surf Slam and others in the Centurion World Series of Wakesurfing. Riding alongside her brother Whit Shropshire on the team, their sibling rivalry fuels constant pushing and progression for both.

Evie thrives on Phase 5's high-performance skim boards, such as the Matrix or Key series, which complement her precise control, revert riding, and creative trick combinations. She's a regular at team events like the annual P5 Regatta—where she teamed up with Whitley Stewart for a blazing-fast win in the fun board shorts challenge—highlighting her competitive spirit and love for the community vibe. Whether battling for podiums, training hard, or bringing big stoke to every session, Evie's quick development, technical style, and family-driven motivation make her a key part of the Phase 5 family, inspiring female riders and contributing to the brand's dominance in women's skim as she continues to chase titles and elevate the sport.
