He’s been known to catch sets with team riders like John Akerman and Sean Silveira over the years so you know a bit of their talent rubbed off on him. Get to know him a little better below and congrats again, Todd!

PHASE 5: Welcome to P5, Todd! Tell us a little about yourself and what this means to you!
Todd: I am beyond excited about this new venture with P5! I have always dreamed of riding for them since first meeting and riding with Sean Silveira, back 7 yrs ago when I first started riding. He actually let me demo a P5 Phantom and loved it so much, I ordered one 3 days later.
PHASE 5: How did you get into wakesurfing? What is your favorite memory of being on a board?
Todd: I moved back from living outside the continental US (Hawaii & Puerto Rico) after 17yrs. (I used to wakeboard), a friend told me we don't wakeboard much anymore, but we wakesurf! I said "Let's Go"!! I was hooked immediately and a week later I bought my first wakesurf boat.
PHASE 5: What drew you to want to ride a Phase 5 board?
Todd: Sean Silveira got me on one originally and recently John Akerman threw me his new 57" Sensei in the water for me to ride behind his Nautique and the rest was history!! The board was too small (for me), but performed insane and with more speed than any board I had ever ridden up to this point. SOLD!!!
PHASE 5: Who do you usually ride with? What’s a typical day on the boat look like for you?
Todd: A typical day on our lake is usually Sara (my fiancé), our kids, and our friends. Everyone loves to surf!
PHASE 5: Which member, or members, of the Phase 5 team are you most excited to ride with?
Todd: Haha, I am excited to ride with all of them, I honestly know so many of them, half will joke with me and ask what took me so long, others just mess with me (cause they can…Sean!) . Also some of the newer upcoming riders, I have either been following (because they caught my eye) and/or surfed with at events at some point over the last couple years.
PHASE 5: Is there anyone you’d like to thank or anything you’d like to say to finish this off?
Todd:I want to thank my family, my job, and God for blessing me with a wonderful life, couldn't do it without their support. I would also like to thank John Akerman for reaching out to P5, the guy is a mentor for all, humble, poised, and professional at all costs, but most importantly absolutely destroys it on anything under his feet!
