The Phase Five Kong is a high-volume fun-surf board built for a wide range of riders. Its full nose and generous platform provide the stability and push needed for tandem sessions or relaxed cruising, while the rounded sting pintail keeps the board responsive when riders step back to carve and drive through turns.
Full-deck Techno Grip traction provides room to move around the board with confidence. Flightlite V2 Pro Select construction keeps the large platform light and lively, while the quad FCS Fusion fin setup delivers dependable speed and drive. The Kong is easy to keep in the wave but still ready to perform.
Flightlite V2 Pro Select is our surf style construction for ultimate performance. It is now our lightest build with a 20% weight reduction. This is a PERFORMANCE build designed to get the most out of the surf shape and provide riders with ultimate “feel”. The layup schedule features a full Innegra bottom sheet with a carbon stringer along with a full Innegra top sheet with carbon tape reinforcing the tail.
