Bailey Rush

Bailey Rush might not have a long season in Canada each year, but she makes the most of it and has been progressing like crazy!

Bailey Rush, serious dual threat representing the Phase 5 wakesurf team. She excels in both surf and skim styles—one of the few women to compete and dominate in both—demonstrating exceptional technical skill, smooth flow, and rapid progression. Her highlights include dominant wins at the CWSA World Wakesurfing Championships, a historic gold medal in women's skim at the inaugural wakesurf event at the World Games in Chengdu, China, the 2024 WSWC Wakesurfer of the Year award, multiple national and North American titles, and consistent podium finishes that reflect her competitive drive.

Her signature pro model, The Rush (updated for 2025/2026), is a high-performance surf-style board with a refined nose, distinctive tail, twin FCS Fusion fins, and lightweight construction, offering explosive airs, smooth carving and effortless spins —perfect for riders advancing from intermediate to pro levels. Off the water, Bailey is a dedicated coach and educator, providing in-person lessons at Gull Lake (and while traveling) plus online video courses at baileyrushsurf.com. Drawing on her past as a competitive figure skater and her work as a school teacher, she focuses on strong fundamentals, video analysis, and enjoyable progression in both styles. Her positive energy, global travels, and passion for growing wakesurfing make her an inspiring member of the Phase 5 family.
