Parker Payne has been a part of the Phase 5 crew for quite some time. He’s always trying to push the boundaries of what’s possible on the water, whether it be on a skim or surf style board. He obviously kills it on both styles of board so that’s why he has a pro model in each category – the Phase 5 Phantom and Phase 5 Matrix Pro! But what gets him stoked about them? Well, you’d have to ask him! Check out a few of the reasons why below!

John Akerman is without a doubt one of the most talented riders on the water today. Whether he’s riding his Ahi, MVP, or foil, he’s constantly turning heads with his high-intensity riding. He recently made the move away from southern FL and into a spot a little closer to Orlando so we thought it would be a good idea to dig up some photos from his south Florida crib!

When you go out and spend your hard earned cash on a brand new board, you want to rest assured that the board you’re riding has the same specifications as the pro you saw riding it, right? Well at Phase 5, that’s what we’re all about. We like to live by the motto “what you see is what you get”. There’s no fluff added behind the scenes to our boards and the boards that we send out to your local shop are the exact same boards that you see your favorite riders tearing it up on! Not only that but we make each and every board by hand in our factory in Venice, FL so we can monitor quality at the highest level.

The season is slowly but surely coming to an end. Last week, we had the final event in the Pro Wakeboard Tour for the surfing division and it was a solid time for team Phase 5! In case you haven’t been paying attention, Phase 5 has been dominating the event circuit lately and it’s most apparent with the closing of the PWT season. Jett Lambert, known for his consistency and technical prowess, 3-peated the events this year with 3 back-to-back-to-back 1st place finishes that landed him in the top spot for the overall title! Congrats, Jett!

Collins Neal hails from the great state of Texas and is always out on the water with her sister, mom, and dad! We’re always seeing their videos/photos and each time we do, she seems to get a little more style every time! She may be the smallest shredder on team P5, but she makes up for it with as much stoke as anyone else out there! Check out some shots of her ripping her custom size Phantom on her home lake with a bonus pic of her sister, Heidi Jo!

John Akerman is a dual threat when it comes to surfing. Put him on his skim style pro model board, THE MVP, and he can throw down some of the most stylish, technical tricks out there! Switch him up to his surf style pro model, THE AHI, and you’ll see some of the biggest airs, hardest slayshes, and more! All eyes are definitely on the water when John is riding. Well, John just picked up his new Paragon G23 so to celebrate, we caught up with him for an inaugural session.

The Nautique WWA Nationals went down this past weekend and we saw a good amount of Phase 5 riders make the podium! The contest was held in the Pacific northwest in Monroe, WA at beautiful Lake Tye Park. The conditions were on point as team Phase 5 made their presence known throughout plenty of divisions! Nationals is always one of the most fun and best events of the season because with so many divisions, it gives riders the opportunity to catch up with everyone and enjoy the good times that come with wakesurfing. Check out some photos from the event below as well as some of the highlights!

Around this time last year, we released Jett Lambert’s pro model version of the super-popular skim style board, the Key. To commemorate such an occasion, we made some calls and got the approval to come ride and shoot at the legendary “Blue Lake” spot. This lake is such a rad spot to shoot because the water is beautiful and it’s a private spot so you don’t have to worry about any boat traffic messing with the calm water. What made this shoot even better was the inclusion of a helicopter to get some aerial angles. What a good day! Check out some shots from that shoot now!

This past weekend, we cruised up to Lake Lanier for the 2024 Southern Surf Slam! This event was jammed full with vendors, food trucks, music, and good times! We started on 6/27 with a pro/am clinic where riders got to pair up with the pros to get coached and even simulate their contest run later in the day. Things like this really help young riders not only gain confidence and learn new tricks but get more acquainted with the contest scene so they’re not so nervous going into their first competition!

First off, you’re probably wondering what FlightLite V2 means, right? Well, it’s our fancy term for our latest board construction technique. Since every board that Phase 5 produces is made by hand, that means we have the ability to implement these new techniques right on our factory floor so we know exactly how they work. We also get to see each board go from a chunk of rough foam to a finished masterpiece so we’re checking to make sure it lives up to our standards every step of the way.

The “Come & Take It” Conroe Classic on Lake Conroe, just outside of Houston Texas, went down this past weekend and you know team Phase 5 was there to represent! A definite highlight of the weekend was a clean Phase 5 sweep of the pro men’s skim podium with Jett Lambert taking top honors, new team rider Luke Hutcherson cruising into 2nd, and Rob McClelland rounding out the podium in 3rd.
